Our goal is in striving to maintain a high level of entertainment, educational outreach, public interest and professional standards in maintaining the theme (giving the impression of being and the encounter of the middle ages) for all of our guests, all applicants who would like to be part of  the Colorado Medieval Festival, submit an application below.

Thank you for taking this extra step to keep Colorado Medieval Festival growing, fun, alive & well and as close to theme as possible for all of our customers and participants alike.

Note: If you do not have a tent and need tents and other set-up items, we are working with a number of local supply rental companies. Tent rentals as low as $150 for the 3-day weekend includes set-up and tear-down.

 * NOTE: Space is limited and will granted by the to only those who meet board approval. All applicants will be reviewed  for product quality, product line, vendor & booth adherence to the middle-age period theme as determined by the board and carefully selected at the sole discretion of the directors of Colorado Medieval Festival board.

All participants who are chosen to take part the Colorado Medieval Festival soft event will be the first to be reviewed for consideration upon development of the Medieval World, USA hard site.

NOTIFICATION:

Application Deadline – Postmarked by:  April 25, 2008
Early Applicants will be notified by:  May 1, 2008

Applications are accepted as late as May 15th with full payment only,
those received after April 25, 2008

will have to contact the on-site office manager for instructions
 and passes. Site fees must be paid prior to set-up.
 All set-up must be completed and in no case can you
 miss the MANDATORY MEETING see application.

 

COSTUMING & PROPS: Remember, this is a "Period", "Historic Re-creation" or "Living History" event. All Participants should be dressed in 8th through mid-14th century Celtic, English, German, Middle Eastern or general "peasant" attire. Props & Equipment should also tie into this period or be skillfully hidden from public view. In an effort to maintain the theme of this period and standards promoted by Colorado Medieval Festival, it is necessary for participants to be believable. Those who do not have or cannot obtain appropriate attire and props, need not apply.

* GROUPS: Colorado Medieval Festival© offers an opportunity to present and promote groups. Such Society, Guild, Group or other promoted participant are collectively called "groups" and are classified by the structure as stated in the Articles of that group's incorporation or other stated by the expressed  intentions of that groups organization.
