The 2017 Colorado Medieval Festival, proudly presented by the Savage Woods in Loveland, CO. The Colorado Medieval festival will take place on the following dates:
Friday, June 2nd 3pm to 8pm
Saturday, June 3rd 10am to 6:30pm
- Sunday, June 4th 10am to 6:30pm
Join the finest maidens and boldest knights in Northern Colorado for a weekend of swordsmanship, crafts, and of course plenty of food and beverages! Experience the Colorado Medieval Festival, tickets are only $8 and children under 5 are free. A parking fee of $5 per vehicle will be charged this year.
The Colorado Medieval Festival is just west of Loveland in The Savage Woods framed by the Devil’s Backbone as a breathtaking backdrop. The physical address is 1750 Savage Road, Loveland, CO 80538.
The Colorado Medieval Festival is pleased to once again join forces with the Rocky Mountain Scottish Athletes Association to bring Loveland and all of Northern Colorado one of the season’s earliest Highland Game Competitions of 2017.
Competition will consist of the following events: Open Stone, Braemar Stone, Heavy & Light Hammer, Heavy & Light Weight for Distance, Caber & Weight for Height, and Sheaf. Athletes must participate in all events to qualify for the overall awards. Aggregate ties will be broken with the Heavy Weight for Distance score.
June 2nd the festival will open with Loveland’s very own Wendy Woo. The games will be June 3rd and 4th.
The festival will have over 60 vendors, as well as MORE food, MORE beer and MORE live entertainment from fairies to live steel and dancing.
The organizers of the Colorado Medieval Festival also bring the Loveland community the Creepy Walk in the Woods (top rated haunted house in Colorado) as well as The Christmas Walk in the Woods.
